January 23, 1977: Accepted the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ

At the age of 25, on the fourth of September, 1979,

Rev. Steven Dexter Lewis was officially installed as Pastor of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church.

April 22, 1978: United in Holy Matrimony to Helen Patrice Freeman, they have been blessed with four children.
